Madison Heights Elementary
Madison Heights Elementary offers a 50/50 Spanish Immersion program where half of the academic content is learned in Spanish.
At Heights, students take a Spanish acquisition class, as well receive instruction in Science and Social Studies in Spanish.
Madison Heights has certified bilingual teachers in the classroom, utilizes the National ACTFL standards, and all students are assessed by the independent National AAPPL Assessment. Parents receive reports on their child’s listening, reading, writing, and speaking ability.
Students are prepared for the Spanish Fluency program at Madison No. 1 Middle School and will be eligible to receive up to two years of foreign language high school credit by their 8th grade year.
