About the Madison Center for the Arts
Madison School District recently celebrated the opening of the 24,547-square-foot Madison Center for the Arts.
Built as part of the voter-approved 2014 Bond election, this new facility provides a state-of-the-art venue for all Madison students to perform, learn, and develop their talents in the visual and performing arts.
The Madison Center for the Arts features a 900-seat auditorium as well as a spacious lobby, comfortably seating 200 for banquet-style events.
In partnership with the Madison Education Foundation, the Madison Center for the Arts will also host professional touring shows, bringing additional arts experiences to our students and the community.
The Center will also be a community resource, available for private event rental.
The Madison Center for the Arts is located at 16th Street and Missouri, next to Madison No. 1 Middle School and the Madison District Office.
