Madison School District is committed to preparing students for success. We focus on educating the whole child by addressing the academic, social and emotional wellness of all of our students. Our students continue to excel academically and also regularly compete in state-level competitions, with several moving on to regional and national levels.
On the spring 2016 AzMERIT test, Madison students scored higher than the state average in both Language Arts and Math, with five Madison schools ranking in the top 10 elementary schools in the Phoenix area.
|School Name||Math Rank||Math % Passing (sorted)||ELA Rank||ELA % Passing|
|Madison Traditional Academy||2nd||80||1st||79|
|Madison Rose Lane||10th||48||8th||50|
A replacement for AIMS, AzMERIT is designed to measure student learning in reading, writing, mathematics and progress toward readiness for college or career.
Madison students were above state and county averages, with many of our schools performing well above demographically similar schools in Phoenix.
2018-2019 School Letter Grades
We congratulate our teachers and students on receiving strong letter grade labels from the Arizona State Board of Education on the spring 2019 AzMERIT test.
The school letter grades represent a snapshot in time and while giving us a specific goal to achieve and strive for, do not reflect other critical components of raising healthy, productive and well-rounded children.
We’re proud of each of the students and faculty members for their hard work and grateful for parental and community support that allow our students to continue achieving.
